About GoHiddenSpain

Spain is one of the most visited countries in the world. But most travel guides send you to the same handful of cities and beaches, again and again. Meanwhile, some of the most beautiful, characterful parts of the country stay quiet, overlooked, and barely covered in English. That gap is why GoHiddenSpain exists.

What we do

We write honest, practical guides to the lesser-known parts of Spain: the quiet regions, the small towns, the roads worth driving. We turn them into ready-to-use routes and region guides, so you can spend less time planning and more time travelling.

We're not about chasing secret places that no one has ever heard of — in a country like Spain, those are rare. It's about something more useful: helping you skip the crowds and find the quiet, beautiful spots and sights that most visitors walk straight past. Real, independent travel that feels like your own.

How we work

Good travel content has to be trustworthy, so we take care with what we publish. Our guides are built on careful research, cross-checked against reliable sources, and shaped by the kind of local knowledge and traveller insight that you can't get from a brochure.

Travel information changes, so we fact-check what we publish and update it when things move on. When something isn't worth recommending, we leave it out. We'd rather show you fewer places we believe in than fill a page for the sake of it.

How we keep the site free

GoHiddenSpain is free to read. We use affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission when you book a place to stay or an experience through us, at no extra cost to you. This never changes what we recommend. You can read more in our Affiliate Disclosure.
