Accessibility Statement
We want GoHiddenSpain to work for everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or keyboard navigation. Everyone should be able to read our guides and plan their trip.
The standard we follow
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our guide. This is an international standard that helps make websites usable for a wide audience.
How we work on accessibility
Accessibility is an ongoing process for us. We build it in from the start rather than adding it later. In practice, we:
- Write semantic, well-structured HTML so the site works well with assistive technology.
- Use a clear heading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3) so pages are easy to navigate.
- Make sure all interactive elements can be reached and used with a keyboard.
- Keep visible focus indicators so you can see where you are on the page.
- Use descriptive link text instead of vague labels like “click here”.
- Add alt text to images that carry information, and mark decorative images so screen readers skip them.
- Give every form field a clear label.
- Aim for colour contrast that meets WCAG AA, and never rely on colour alone to convey meaning.
- Write in clear, plain English.
Known limitations
We aim for full accessibility, but we are a small site and improvement is continuous. If you find something that does not work well for you, we want to hear about it so we can fix it.
This statement does not cover external websites we link to (such as booking partners or social media), which have their own accessibility standards.
